Palm Plating & Thickness Test Panels are primarily used in the surface finishing industry for checking plating rate. Both electroless and electrolytic solutions vary in plating rate caused by the numerous finishing factors that impact the actual metallic deposition. Because of the high grade of steel, hardness and thickness, these small panels are consistent, reliable, dependable and easy to use.

Palm Plating & Thickness Test Panels are made of Carbon C1095 steel. The Rockwell hardness test is C - Scale 59-61. The thickness is .009" with a thickness tolerance of +/- .001"
