ENheat COMPACT EXCHANGER
For Electroless Nickel Plating

The ENheat heat exchanger is a compact, light weight unit with a unique, enhanced surface designed to combine high heat transfer coefficients with low pressure drops. Enheat models are typically one third the size and weight of comparable shell and tube exchangers. Theyare ideal for heating electroless nickel plating solutions. They are also very useful for otherplating applications where either heating or cooling are needed.

The ENheat transfers heat at rates as much as five times those of other exchangers. The overall heat transfer coefficient for these exchangers with pressurized hot water is between 600 to1200 BTU/hr F ft², depending upon flow rate. With low pressure steam, the heat transfer coefficient of the ENheat may be as high as 3000BTU/hr F ft².

The ENheat exchanger is totally fabricated of Type 316L stainless steel for complete resistance to thechemicals encountered in electroless nickel plating. Its all welded construction guarantees against leakage. Each unit is hydrostatically tested to a pressure of 75 psig before shipment. ENheat exchangers, fabricated from CP titanium, are also available for services such as anodizing or chloride zinc.
